Grimm Family

When people think about Kansas, I’m sure the iconic state sunflower comes to mind.  I have to say, that being in a field with thousands upon thousands of peak season sunflowers is a sight unlike any other.  The Grimm family and I ventured out to the most spectacular field of golden flowers, where we took in the sights and smells, caught larger than life grasshoppers and enjoyed a perfect Kansas sunset.   It was one of my favorite sessions to date because it typifies what I want to do as a photographer:  capture families connecting with their surrounding world and nature.  I love the simplicity and the natural beauty this night held for us.  I feel so blessed to be able to capture the special moments for families that I know will last a lifetime.  Thank you Grimm Family!

Welcome

Welcome to my blog where I love to showcase my latest work.  As an artist and portrait historian, my goal is that each session depicts the warmth, love and light reflected in my subjects.  All sessions take place in natural light, whether it's the golden hour over the gulf or the soft glow of an early dawn, its my personal goal to find each client the best and most ideal conditions for their photographs.
