I love snow days! It gives me a chance to be out in the beautiful outdoors with my family and then snuggle up with them all day. Our neighborhood turned into one big snow colony and the kids had a blast building snow forts and having snow ball fights all day! Kansas City is known for it’s cold and snowy winters. Last winter we didn’t get any snow and this winter was looking not much different when two different storms moved in and dumped a total of over 20 inches of snow! As I mentioned in my earlier blog post, Why Winter Photography, snow makes for some of the most gorgeous and stunning images. Not only that, but it is a blast to play around in! We used to live in the mountains of Colorado, so this weather leaves me reminiscing and longing for my old snowshoes and skis!
